Frequently asked questions
Which pump is better for sodium hypochlorite, plunger or diaphragm?
A diaphragm pump with a PP or PVDF liquid end is usually the better choice. The diaphragm keeps the chemical sealed in, so there is no gland leakage, and these plastics resist hypochlorite.
How do I size a dosing pump for my plant?
Share the water flow (m³/hr), the dose rate you need (ppm), the chemical strength and the discharge pressure. We will work out the pump capacity and send a recommendation.
Do you service pumps from other manufacturers?
Yes. We repair and overhaul metering pumps of most makes at our Mumbai works and can supply compatible spares.
